Strategic Financial Advice
The Strategic Financial Advice team is primarily responsible for managing all client relationships and the provision of advice. Their responsibilities include strategic planning and advice, compliance, the preparation of statements of advice and all strategic support services for the advisory team and clients.
Edward Skok is the head of the Strategic Advice team and is also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Edward commenced his career in financial planning in March 1988 and has more than two decades of experience in the industry. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner® designation, a CPA of CPA Australia, and he was placed in the Australian Financial Review Smart Investor MasterClass national top 50 advisers in 2007.
Investment Research & Management
The Investment Research & Management team has ultimate responsibility for the development and management of clients’ investment portfolios and their performance. The team works closely with experts in the investment management industry to deliver tailored investment solutions to clients.
The team is led by Kelvin Boyd, who has been with the firm for more than twenty years. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics degree and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment (Major in Investment Management), for which he was awarded the Victorian Dux Award from Finsia (Financial Services Institute of Australasia).
The Client Services team is the initial point of day to day contact between Whittle & Skok and our clients. The team prides itself on delivering the highest level of personalised customer service and communication.
Client Services is responsible for the administration, implementation and reporting on clients’ portfolios, and ensures the efficient functioning of the office.
Our Client Services leader, Lee Tankey, has accumulated over 13 years’ experience as an administrator within highly regarded international accounting firms and financial planning practices, and in 2006 successfully completed her Certificate III in Financial Services.
